Description
The Providence Ghanaian Seventh Day Adventist Church is part of the worldwide Adventist movement. Adventists believe the bible and the bible alone- and have been made unique by observing the clearly specified 7th Day Sabbath from the mouth of God and also preaching the nearness of the second coming of Jesus Christ (Advent). Outside of Catholicism, Adventists have established the most schools and hospitals worldwide- displaying an understanding to meet not only the spiritual needs of individuals, but also their physical and practical needs just as Jesus did. Seventh Day Adventists are represented in almost every country worldwide as we strive to complete the words of Christ: “This Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14). We are not to be a stagnant church, complacent in a sinful world. We are to be a part of the final movements of Earth’s history and work as Disciples of Christ in the last days by preaching and teaching not just a portion, but ALL of the truths revealed in scripture- only then shall the end come and Christ return to take His children to their Heavenly home.
